The Knights of Columbus, Pius IX Council, are very pleased to announce the following recipients from St. Stanislaus Parish of our annual Knights of Columbus scholarships:

High School & Elementary Scholarship Information
The Knights of Columbus, Pius IX Council 4396, is proud to announce that it accepts applications for its newly established annual scholarship program for students at Mater Dei Catholic School and Lansdale Catholic High School. Students interested in applying can contact their guidance counselor or school administrator. Applications will be accepted through December 12th.
College Scholarship Information

Brother Knights of Pennsylvania,
Thanks to our COAL Committee and the support of the COAL program by our Pennsylvania Knights, the State Council will award Ten $4000 College Scholarships to sons and daughters of Brother Knights in 2023. That is an increase of $250 a year for recipients.
Program applications and instructions for 2022-23 high school graduates are posted on the PA KofC website under the 'Programs' tab at https://kofcpennsylvania.org/scholarships. The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2022. Applications are now being accepted.

TEN SCHOLARSHIPS, each totaling $4,000.00, payable in four installments of $1000.00 per year, for Knights, sons and daughters of Pennsylvania Knights of Columbus.
Other conditions that must be met:
The candidate must be a candidate for graduation in a recognized 4-year high school, or its home schooling equivalent, during the term ending June 2023 (or January 2023 for early graduates).
The candidate must submit a properly completed application form -- with all the appropriate signatures as required on the application -- to the Scholarship Chairman of the Pennsylvania State Council, Knights of Columbus, no later than December 31, 2022.
Prior to receiving the scholarship, each candidate must be accepted and enrolled at either a college/university or a School of Nursing connected with a hospital. Such a college or school may be under Catholic or non-Catholic auspices, subject to approval by the committee.
Application and Test Scores MUST be received by December 31, 2022 - NO EXCEPTIONS. It is strongly recommended that applicants not to wait until late December to get the necessary signatures. Because people may not be available during the Christmas holiday season.

Catholic School Student Grant Program
The Educational Foundation will be processing up to fifty (50) $1,000.00 Knights of Columbus Student Grants paid to the Catholic schools grades 1 through 12 where the Knight of Columbus member’s child is enrolled. Applications will be accepted by the Educational Foundation Secretary if postmarked beginning January 1, 2023. The Educational Foundation members will then hold a drawing, and the winners will be notified by the Secretary and also posted on the state website. Only applications postmarked between January 1 and January 31, 2023, will be eligible for the drawing. Click here for more details!
Above, the Knights of Columbus Pius IX Council 4396 congratulated the recipients of Lansdale Catholic High School and Mater Dei Elementary schools in Lansdale, PA. This was the first annual Knights of Columbus scholarship program which has provided over $10,000 in awards to students in these two schools.
