St Maria Goretti Confirmation
Confirmation at SMG was held at the 10:00 AM mass, with Archbishop Green as the presider. The Pius IX council, with assistance from Fr Joseph C. Tomko Color Corps, assisted with the confirmation and Mass.
Fish Fry Fundraiser
The Knights Fish Fry was created to benefit seminarians and religious. Dine In or Take Out. Please pre-order your meals using the order sheet provided by or before March 17, 2024. Drop the order sheet in the collection basket or at the Parish Center at Saint Maria Goretti or Saint Stanislaus. For Dine In, be with us Friday, March 22, at Saint Maria Goretti Church - Drexel Hall, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA—from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Knight of The Year
Tom Coughlin, Jr. receives “Knight of The Year” award from Grand Knight Rich Mazur.
Tom exemplifies commitment to the community and the Church by actively participating in many different activities. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Ancient Order of Hibernian, and the American Legion, and he is involved in many different groups within the St. Maria Goretti Parish. Tom is ready to help and the person to call on when a project needs to be managed and completed—a go-to guy.
Basketball Free Throw Contest
The Knights of Columbus Pius IX Council will hold our annual Free Throw Competition on Thursday, January 11, at the St. Maria Goretti gym. The event was open to all boys and girls, ages 9-14. It was free to enter, and winners in each age group could move on to a district-level competition in February.

The very popular Breakfast With Santa will be held at Drexel Hall at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1601 Derstine Road, Hatfield, PA 19440. Includes Picture with Santa.
Wreaths Across America
Wreath Across America Ceremony – 12:00 Noon – December 17th
Location: St John Neumann Cemetery, 3797 County Line Rd., Chalfont, PA 18914. Please meet us at the top of the cemetery hill at the roundabout.
There is no better time to express appreciation than during the holiday season. In many homes, there is an empty seat for one serving or making the ultimate sacrifice for our country. We hope you will join us to show our veterans we are thankful for them and will always be remembered.
Our Pius IX Council 4396, the Fr. Joseph C. Tomko Assembly 934, and the VFW Post 3258 will stand as Honor Guard. Fr. Chung of St. Maria Goretti will lead the prayer service.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend to embrace the memories of our loved ones and honor our Veterans.
